The state of North Carolina has zero regulations when it comes to how piercings are done

It is very important that you research your piercer. Things to consider:

Do they use single use needles?

Are their supplies brand new and opened in front of you?

Can you see an autoclave or ultrasonic cleaner where clamps and such are sterilized?

Do they use Implant grade titanium jewelry?

Are they wearing and switching out gloves frequently?

Are they making you feel safe and relaxed while performing a piercing?

Make sure wherever you go, you remember you’re the client and you deserve to feel comfortable and taken care of. If you aren’t happy about something, speak up.

Here at Knockout Piercings it is our goal to ensure your experience goes as flawless as possible. We want you to feel confident that you are getting the best care and that you know you’re in a clean environment. We use an ultrasonic cleaner to sterilizer our equipment, where we then store it in sanitation pouches waiting to be used. Before and after each appointment the counters, equipment and chair are wiped down with super Sani-Cloth germicidal disposable wipes. Our Piercer washes her hands thoroughly before starting any piercing, as well as putting on a fresh pair of latex free gloves. We only pierce with implant grade titanium, and we go over aftercare and how long you should wait before changing out your jewelry. Our studio maxes out at four piercings per appointment for our clients safety. Your body needs time to heal, and doing too much at once can be dangerous and cause your new piercings not to heal. We are always available for any questions or concerns you might have before or after your appointment as well.
